-----------------------------------------------------------
Today was the day I had been looking forward to since the start of 2011 - The day that the secondary ones came to choir! =D
Before practice started, however, I had not known that they had come. It was only when I went to the choir room and saw an unusually large number of shoes outside (There are normally only 3 to 5 pairs, but today there were around 20) that I knew that the juniors had arrived. Naturally the secondary twos were all excited, this being our first day being seniors in the choir.
We eagerly waited for practice to start, and when it did, we rushed in to see our juniors. There weren't many, but we had expected that long ago as there was an announcement stating which CCAs had the least number of new members a few days ago, and choir was amongst the CCAs mentioned. But even then, there were still a relatively average number of juniors there, and I heard there are still more. :D
Practice was different today as we had to teach the new secondary ones the songs we will be singing for SYF. As we had already learned these songs during the holidays, it was good revision for us. Also, it would enable us to teach the secondary ones more effectively should they require help, and this would spare our section leader the trouble of attending to many of them at the same time.
I am sure that with these new juniors, VS Choir will be even stronger and I wish them a good time in choir. :D I am certain they will love it. :)
This was one of the songs we learned last year and was performed for Rhapsody IX. It was one of my favourite songs. :D
